Maine’s First Dedicated Gluten-free Brewery
We create and offer craft beers that are safe for those with gluten intolerances and simply delicious to all.
Our Brews
Our dedicated gluten-free brewing process allows for those with gluten sensitivities, including Celiac disease, to enjoy the variety and excitement of a small craft brewery without the risk of immune reactions that barley-based beers can induce.

Kathleen "Pidge" Pigeon
Founder
The original Lucky Pigeon, and responsible for daily operations, Pidge began brewing at home in 2010 and transitioned to gluten-free brewing when she removed gluten from her diet. She brings her experience as a scientist, people leader and operations manager to bear for Lucky Pigeon. We all credit Pidge for this thing we call Lucky Pigeon Brewing.

Bev Pigeon
Founder
Bev calls on her professional experience in marketing and communications to express Lucky Pigeon Brewing in a non-liquid format. She manages our restaurant and retail accounts. Bev is shameless in her love of puns and “dad jokes” and is affectionately known as our Gratitude Ambassador.

Nic Bramer
Founder
Nic led the design for our brewery space and taproom, and he helps manage our operations. He brings his background in culinary science, restaurant management, and commercial kitchen design and consulting to Lucky Pigeon. We rely on Nic’s fun-loving spirit to keep the energy up at Lucky Pigeon Brewing.

Lesley bramer
FOUNDER
Lesley employs her experience in the hospitality industry, social work, and the real estate market for Lucky Pigeon’s benefit. She is by far the most fashion-savvy of the owners, and she provides aesthetic direction to both the taproom and all merchandise orders.

Scott Nebel
HEAD BREWER
Scott brings to Lucky Pigeon Brewing 10 years of craft brewing experience, having worked at Sebago Brewing Company and Maine Beer Company. A graduate of Bowdoin College, he spent a year teaching English as a second language in Germany. Scott is also a guitarist and has performed with several bands in Portland, Maine.

Britt Bartlett
TASTING ROOM MANAGER
Britt brings his experience as manager with Sac Brew Bike in California to Lucky Pigeon Brewing. You’ll find him pouring beers behind the bar, event-planning, booking food trucks, delivering to our retail accounts, catching cans and stacking cases, and much more. With a wide (seemingly otherworldly) variety of skills and interests, we call Britt “our unicorn”.

Ian Anderson
DISTRIBUTION & TASTING ROOM
Ian describes himself as a ‘giant nerd’ who brings a love for D&D, beer, Star Wars, and long drives to Lucky Pigeon. A problem-solver and kilt-wearer, you’ll find him pouring in the taproom or on the highway driving our beer across the state as our wholesale deliveryman. See if you can guess his rockstar look-alike.

Adrian Beck-Oliver
BREWER
Adrian came to Lucky Pigeon Brewing in early 2023 after working at several breweries in Massachusetts and Maine. His hobbies include hiking, backpacking and drumming. A native of Nova Scotia, Adrian has a “healthy” obsession with RUSH, Letterkenny and Donairs.
ABOUT US
Lucky Pigeon Brewing is a dedicated gluten-free brewery located in the historic Pepperell Mills in Biddeford, Maine. Lucky Pigeon started as the dream of Kathleen Pigeon (our original “Lucky Pigeon”) who had to remove gluten from her diet for health reasons. The idea took root during a family vacation where a visit to a craft brewery provoked the thought, “wouldn’t it be great to have a tasting room experience that folks who are gluten-free can enjoy?”
